Junior Achievement S.H.E. Leads STEM Summit is a virtual event for 8-12 grade students, offering STEM career exploration by engaging in fun, virtual activities, and discussions with STEM career professionals.
Students will hear from speakers and panelists from diverse career and educational backgrounds, who discuss their career pathways and the decisions that lead them there.

• 9:00-10:00 AM WHAT TO EXPECT WELCOME, KEYNOTE SPEAKER, PANELIST DISCUSSION - available to all students
• 10:00-3:30 PM WORKSHOPS - available to all students
• 3:30-5:30 PM MENTORING*  - available to students who identify as female

*3:30-5:30 PM Mentoring focuses on students who identify as female to have the opportunity to participate in their mentor-led discussions. Mentors who also identify as female come from a variety of professional backgrounds. Each mentoring session will last 30 minutes, and students can sign up for as many mentoring sessions as they wish. They can also start at any time, however, the program asks students to stay for the entire 30-minute session.

Important Facts
Students DO NOT need to attend the entire event. They can choose which workshops and mentoring sessions they participate in.
Workshops last 30-40 minutes, students can attend as many workshops as they wish throughout the day.
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
